Beginning in this decade, ACPL began to expand its reach and services through several expansions and unique business relationships. Much of this activity was spurred by the addition of ACPL’s second generation of leadership, and an increased strength from 10 to 100 plus. Today the firm's legacy & values are carried ahead by Mr. Kulmeet Shangari.

    Mr. Kulmeet Shangari graduated from Sushant School of Art and Architecture, N. Delhi. In 1997, Mr. Kulmeet Shangari took over the reins of Ajit Shangari Consultants Pvt. Ltd. Since then he has worked relentlessly in the developments ACPL is involved in, from Commercial, condominium housing to resort developments and urban planning.

    Under Mr. Kulmeet Shangari, ACPL has seen itself grow from an organisation capable of handling projects from concept to completion, to one that is capable of executing projects, in coordination with external agencies. ACPL’s ability to chase projects and work with minimum supervision has seen it move from one success to another in a reasonably short period of time. Mr. Kulmeet Shangari has spearheaded ACPL’s successful participation in various design competitions like the Delhi Development Authority Housing Design Competition in 1999 where they designed condominium housing.

    Mr. Kulmeet Shangari was instrumental in the Urban Design Competition in 2000 with their entry for the design of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University campus, in sub-city Dwarka, and in the Limited Design Competition with 864 dwelling units for the Army Welfare Housing Organisation. ACPL was a part of the team that secured a merit award in the national level design competition, based on the theme "our neighbourhood" and promoted by the Ministry of Urban Affairs and Employment, Govt. of India. Mr. Kulmeet Shangari is a member of the Council of Architecture, India, an associate of the Indian Institute of architects as well as of the American Institute of Architects, NY.

    Mr. Ashok Pandit is one of India’s most widely respected and experienced architects. Mr. Ashok Pandit took over as Chief Architect of ACPL in 1991. Throughout his career he has participated in several prestigious design and architectural competitions like low cost housing for HUDCO in 1977, DDA urban design, Guru Govind Singh University, Delhi and AWHO urban design in Noida. Mr. Ashok Pandit started his career back in 1967 as a site architect overseeing the supervision of State Bank of India Group Housing Society in Nagpur. In 1969, Mr. Ashok Pandit joined the National Industrial Development Corporation, in the capacity of architect and in charge of various large township projects like those for a Grinding Machine Tools Plant in Ajmer, a Rosin and Turpentine Plant in Bilaspur, National Aluminum Corporation in Korba and for Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Ranchi.

    Mr. Ashok Pandit moved on to become the Group Leader of Industrial Projects for the Government of India public sector undertaking Engineers India Ltd., a premiere consultancy of Asia, a position he held between1974 to 1981. Later he was a consultant to the Government of Libya, their Ministry of Industries and Ministry of Economy and Tourism. In Libya, he worked on designing multistoreyed cold storages and super markets, garment centres, townships, fisheries, tourist resorts as well as conducting design reports and feasibility studies for all. Continuing in his independent consulting profile, Mr. Ashok Pandit began to consult on various projects in 1981 including institutional buildings, an engineering college, auditoria, hospitals and medical colleges, Jeet Apartments – a group housing society in Maharashtra and the Life Insurance Corporation of India offices at Abu Road and Rajsamand, Rajasthan.
